Welcome to Per Sebek!

This is still a work in progress, but I have a clearer idea of what I want this site to be. I plan to start working on the material I intend to include on this site in the coming weeks. Hekate's inclusion in my magical work has required some rethinking, as for many years, the idea of Per Sebek was only to be one for Sobek and my Kemetic gods. But She will not be excluded, and I would not want to anyway. So some material here will be more about Her and what I do for Her, as well as the things I do for Sobek. The two of them dictate what I do, and how I do it, and that should be reflected here at last.

I also want to include a guestbook page for people to leave prayers of their own, though I may split these into one for Sobek and one for Hekate, and perhaps one for other gods as a whole, so no one feels they need to pray to a certain god if they aren't sure they want to.

I don't plan to replicate all my content from the old WordPress version of the site, because that feels pointless. But I will reformat and post the ones I think are actually worth including and that I still use. I also plan to add in links to the old site as an archive, as I don't plan to take that site down. That will integrate all the information while not feeling like I'm just doing the whole thing twice.

The old site functioned very well as a journal of my work and my path and how my path changed over the past decade or so. The rituals and rites and such captured there tell that story well. But I've reached a point where I don't necessarily need that anymore, and much of the work I do is far more private. My rituals are fairly stable now, and don't really change. So to have a site that contains everything I've ever done feels kinda pointless. So I don't want to do that anymore. I will give myself space here for the rites I do use, and allow this to be more a living embodiment of my current path, than an archive of old rites I no longer use.

So that's the current plan. It may take a while, but I've got the idea now, and the style I want for the site, so. We'll see how this comes together and starts to grow again.

It's time for Per Sebek to come to life again.
